A Website in a Day: Renovation Mortgages Build Case study
The Brief
Orton Financial needed a small, budget-friendly website to advertise their new Renovation Mortgages service. With limited time and resources, we adapted our process to deliver a professional, fully functional site in just one day.
The Challenge
The project required a fast turnaround and strict budget control, ruling out a custom design or extended development cycle. The website also needed to comply with financial services standards, making key policy pages vital. Finally, Renovation Mortgages had no existing logos or graphics, so we had to create new branding assets as part of the build.
Our Approach
1. Design & Setup
We purchased the domain and set up a hosting environment for quick deployment. To meet the tight deadline, we customised a Divi layout with Orton’s existing colours and typography. This provided a consistent brand look without the cost of a bespoke design.
2. Development
We created custom presets for recurring design modules, ensuring a homogeneous look across all pages and allowing future site-wide changes with minimal effort. We adapted Orton’s existing materials into a homepage, service details, contact, about, and policy pages.
3. Imagery & Branding
With no logos or visuals available, we designed a responsive logo using AI and Photoshop, ensuring scalability across devices. We also built bespoke graphics to highlight Renovation Mortgages’ services and value proposition.
4. Feedback & Launch
A staging site was shared with the client, and our commenting tool enabled them to provide clear, itemised feedback directly on the design. After implementing revisions, the site was launched within the one-day timeframe.
Results
The final website delivered a professional digital presence for Renovation Mortgages within budget and on time. The new site is simple to update, scalable, and compliant with industry requirements.
